Washington, DC – In advance of today’s House vote on the American Health Care Act, the Patriotic Millionaires released a hard-hitting video statement about Paul Ryan’s career-long obsession with taking health insurance away from Americans.
Speaker Ryan has dedicated his entire legislative career to restricting coverage, from Medicare to Medicaid, and the AHCA is just the latest in a long line of attempts to reduce poor and elderly Americans’ access to health care. The AHCA gives the wealthy yet another unnecessary tax cut on the backs of the American people, and the Patriotic Millionaires are calling for this disgrace of a bill to be rejected by the House.
