Patriotic Millionaires is a collection of high-net-worth individuals who share a profound concern about the destabilizing level of inequality in America.
Our members come from all over the country and are engaged in a wide variety of professional industries. We are investors, business owners and executives, lawyers, inheritors, filmmakers, authors, and more. We are very diverse, but we share a desire to create a political economy that works for everyone in America, not just wealthy people like us.
Besides being a person of wealth, the only requirement to join our group is to have a strong passion for advancing our three priorities: taxing the rich, paying the people, and spreading the power.
If this sounds like you, we’d love to have you on board!

What does membership with the Patriotic Millionaires entail?
Members have a variety of options to engage with the media, lawmakers, and fellow citizens as much, or as little, as they desire. We offer opportunities for members to provide commentary to journalists; write perspectives, op-eds, and letters to the editor; speak at rallies and forums; participate in small group discussions with influencers and experts; lobby members of Congress; and provide content for social and traditional media. Our staff supports these operations through comprehensive issue and media training, providing research and messaging guidelines. Each department also has an advisory committee which members are encouraged to join.
I want to join the Patriotic Millionaires but, for personal/professional reasons, I don’t want my name to be publicly associated with the organization. Is this possible?
Yes! Public members may be featured in our public-facing materials while private members are not featured or listed anywhere.
What type of organization is the Patriotic Millionaires?
The Patriotic Millionaires is structured through two arms: our 501(c)(3), the Patriotic Millionaires Research Center, and our 501(c)(4), the Patriotic Millionaires Action Fund.
Why do you call yourselves “Patriotic Millionaires”?
Patriotism is about what a citizen does or gives up for the country’s greater good. There are many ways to be patriotic and serve your country, but we firmly believe that one of the most patriotic things that Americans can do – second only to military service or holding office – is to pay your rightful share in taxes.
A common refrain we hear from our wealthy peers is: “I would be fine paying more tax as long as I knew my tax dollars were going towards things that I support.” It’s an understandable view, but unfortunately, that’s not how government works. If we don’t like the way that politicians spend and develop budget priorities, we millionaires have the option to vote them out of office like everyone else. But it will never be a valid excuse to skirt our patriotic duty to pay what we owe in taxes.
Are the Patriotic Millionaires affiliated with a specific political party?
No. Our organization is nonpartisan. We work with elected officials across the political spectrum to promote public policy that aligns with our values.
I’m not a millionaire, but I want to help. How can I get involved?
Any patriot who does not meet our income or asset requirements but would still like to support our organization is welcome to join our email list. We use our emails to send regular updates about our work and offer ways for grassroots supporters to contact their elected officials about our issues. You can join that using the sign-up form below.
You are also welcome to contribute to our work through our ActBlue page.
