PATRIOTIC MILLIONAIRES JOINS MASSIVE MARCH ON MCDONALD’S SHAREHOLDER MEETING TO DEMAND HIGHER WAGES

Patriotic Millionaires to join Women’s March, Movement for Black Lives, Our Revolution, Move On, and 10,000 underpaid workers in protest

Chicago, IL – This afternoon at 4:00pm CT, the Patriotic Millionaires will join the Fight for $15’s March on McDonald’s to demand that the corporate giant grant its employees a $15 minimum wage and union rights. Patriotic Millionaire Tax Zlotnitsky, Chairman and CEO of iControl Data Solutions, will speak in front of 10,000 activists gathered outside the annual McDonald’s shareholder meeting, making the case – as a business owner – for the corporation’s responsibility to provide its employees a fair and livable wage.

This march comes on the heels of a scathing video released last night by the Patriotic Millionaires, “Stop the Greedy Clown,” which attacks McDonald’s for poverty wages, taxpayer subsidies, and multi-million dollar pay packages for corporate executives. In addition to this video, the Patriotic Millionaires involvement in the fight to raise wages for McDonald’s employees, including a letter sent yesterday to McDonald’s CEO Steve Easterbrook, was profiled yesterday in Business Insider.
