A Closer Look: Join us at “HOW TO WIN, Tax the Rich, and Save the World.”

After teasing you a bit last week about our 2026 Spring Symposium, “HOW WE WIN, Tax the Rich, and Save the World,” we’re thrilled to officially bring you into the fold and invite you to join us virtually for what we think will be one of the best events of the year. In just five days, you’ll be able to stream an event unlike any other. How do we know that? Because we’re having the conversations that need to be had, and bringing key players into the room.

And we want you there with us!

This coming Tuesday, April 14th, we will host donors, business leaders, strategists, policy experts, activists, candidates, and elected leaders in Washington, DC for a high-level discussion about the threat posed by extreme wealth concentration and what we can do to solve it. Moderated by Patriotic Millionaires’ President, Erica Payne, our panelists and speakers will explore how to leverage the potent, pivotal moment America finds itself in to return political power to the people, dismantle authoritarian forces, and put working people at the center of our politics. Together, they will unpack the ideas and tactics necessary to ensure durable prosperity, a resilient democracy, and the rich, stable, and free nation that the vast majority of Americans want.

Among other things, “HOW WE WIN” will highlight the bold, commonsense principles at the heart of Patriotic Millionaires’ legislative platform, The MONEY Agenda. We’ll specifically highlight the Equal Tax Act and Working Americans’ Tax Cut Act, which are two pieces of recently introduced legislation modeled after parts of our MONEY Agenda. And we spoke about it a few weeks ago, but we’ll address the criticism that the Working Americans’ Tax Cut Act has continued to receive in political and tax policy circles. Erica didn’t pull punches about it when she spoke recently to Axios: “Holy cow … did we set off a sh*tstorm.”

Other topics of discussion will include the growing influence of artificial intelligence and its impact on the affordability crisis; our Team MONEY project and the opportunity to engage rural “red” voters in the fight for economic justice; successful efforts to tax the rich we’re seeing in states; and the connection between the fight for democracy and the fight for tax justice.

Be sure to tune into the livestream of “HOW WE WIN” HERE next Tuesday, April 14th, from 9AM to 12PM ET. You can also watch the livestream on our website, Facebook page, and YouTube channel.

For this week’s Closer Look, we want to tell you about the incredible speakers lined up for our Symposium, some of whom are Patriotic Millionaires.
