Vista, CA – On Tuesday morning, Patriotic Millionaire Karen Stewart joined members of the Not One Penny coalition outside Congressman Darrell Issa’s office to demand that he commit to opposing tax reform that includes any tax cuts for millionaires, billionaires, and wealthy corporations.

Below, please find an excerpt from Ms. Stewart’s statement at the rally:

“We do not need tax cuts. You all need health care, and decent jobs. We need elected officials to choose country over party. When is Trump going to choose it? When is Congress going to choose it? When is Darrell Issa going to choose it? We need to pay taxes. How do we have roads, national parks, bridges? We have to pay taxes for our country, and we are the ones who can afford to pay them.”
